Hi, I'm Carlis.  I'm a style blogger, dog-lover and social media addict. I grew up in the DMV but was born in South America. Starting my blog in 2010 with my friend Katya made me realize what I ultimately wanted to do with my life. What started as a side project transformed into a full-time endeavor.  Soon, I found myself discovering cool new hang out spots five days a week.  It was inspiring to see people who I've worked with succeed, whether it was with lookbook production, event planning or just simple date advice over coffee. 

 

As a DC lifestyle blogger, I realized that there was a need to help small and new businesses grow.  Again and again at events, I was approached by savvy boutique owners looking to step up their media presence.  They asked for help with skills that have always come natural to me. This is how the social media agency of Spicy Candy DC grew up.
